Based at our Sydney Head Office and reporting directly to the eCommerce Manager, this role will see you responsible for the day to day execution of the eCommerce site, along with maintenance and successful trade of multiple platforms. As the Junior eCommerce Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the Aje online channels by ensuring that products are accurately displayed and replenished on the website at all times. 


As a Junior Ecommerce Manager, your tasks will include:

  • Own the Aje eCommerce Customer Journey from ideation to execution according to sales budgets and on-site behavioural metrics, across Australia, New Zealand and International markets.
  • Provide weekly reports on product performance across key metrics including revenue, conversion rate, return, category performance, page views, CX site behaviour trends and recommending opportunities for optimisation.
  • Support insights and reporting by maintenance of Google Analytics filters and dashboards
  • Managing the eCommerce shoot and shoot-list, working with an external agency to organise production of imagery and assets according to deadlines
  • Oversee the upload of products and product details to effectively meet launch dates and timelines that ensure product is online, selling to the critical path and is optimised for selling.
  • Document, maintain, and communicate content requirements for website
  • Perform regular on site merchandising and enrichment of product information
  • Execute trade promotions to meet omnichannel trade strategy
  • Proactively raise opportunities and ideas that position Aje as market leaders and bring a can do attitude.
  • Coordinate, brief eCommerce improvements with external agency and perform thorough testing on all site related changes.
  • Responsible for quality ecommerce rollout across all devices and browsers.

You will bring:


  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role
  • A performance lens to everyday working creating opportunities for revenue and conversion on site
  • A drive for meeting metrics and KPI’s
  • Experience with Shopify preferred
  • Omni-channel experience a plus
  • A proven track record of ‘trading’ a website; understanding what is required to drive sales and manage the operations to reach this goal
  • Qualification in business, ecommerce or similar
  • Creative, enthusiastic and willing to learn/expand their knowledge and skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organising skills, scheduling and work-flow planning.
  • Effective time management skills and experience working within timelines and meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills that will be able to influence all team members and stakeholders no matter what position they hold
  • Problem solving skills that generate practical insights and solutions when they may arise
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and derive insights from data
  • A strategic mindset and innovative that continuously identifies opportunities that align with our Aje goals and values
